You are in an embrace of constraints
and constant limitations
by an inconspicuous,
yet evident, man-named entity called
‘Time’?
It’s true!
It is a binding force that has a grip
you can never escape.
Yesterday
is a fragment of our imagination.
We can think to ourselves
that it happened, but we cannot
be certain that it did.
Time is relative.
The only proof of its existence,
is in Today.
Today
is an expansion of Yesterday
we didn’t think would form.
Because the only proof of
Time is right now,
no certainty exists that
Time holds a tomorrow.
Tomorrow
is the fragment of Today
which is unreasonable to acknowledge,
impossible to certify.
Because Time is relative,
Tomorrow is Today - as
Yesterday was the day before.
Time
Time is fundamental to the idea of the
universe and the basis of life.
It is the very first thing one develops an
illogical familiarity with.
Forcibly handed from
the moment of conception,
Time is a gift of identity given to each being -
- one which immediately and inevitably
starts depreciating.
